Since they watched Jason Kidd skip town for Milwaukee and Paul Pierce join the Washington Wizards, the Brooklyn Nets lost key characters from their bench and starting lineup that summer. Those reductions will alter Brooklyn’s makeup significantly, but maybe not . Lionel Hollins replaces Kidd, and his seven seasons of head coaching experience must mesh with the Nets’ roster. At exactly the same time, Beckley Mason, at a piece for ESPN.com, raised some interesting questions about the reputation Hollins built with the Memphis Grizzlies.

The playoffs are a goal for the Nets, and in the event the Williams can stay healthy along with Lopez, a top-four seed is not from the question.
