Last week, NASCAR hosted its biggest event of this year at the Daytona 500, and it was about as unpredictable as one can expect.Denny Hamlin, a man known as a king of the restrictor-plate races, took home the win as a enormous crash pumped out a huge section of the area down the stretch.
At Atlanta Motor Speedway, there will be kings on the monitor as racing starts this week.
Kevin Harvick is your clear favored at 4/1 chances with eight top-10 finishes in his last 10 races and two career wins over the trail there. While Busch also includes two wins at AMS and five top 10s in his last 10 races, kyle Busch and Joey Logano equally have 6/1 chances. Logano has no wins, but four finishes.
And while Martin Truex Jr. and Brad Keselowski can get lost in the shuffle, they are more than powerful in Georgia.
This week, who wins? Kyle Larson is due for a win, although it might be foolish to select against Harvick. The 26-year-old went without a win season, but Atlanta could be the spot for him. Larson includes a second place finish in five career races at AMS and three top-10 finishes.
The QuikTrip 500 could be seen Sunday at two p.m. ET on FOX.
