Group One options for Kameko

Andrew Balding has not ruled out stepping up with Kameko to Group One degree before the conclusion of the season.
The Kingsclere handler is considering drop him back to seven furlongs for the Criterium International or whether to maintain the son of Kittens Joy at Doncaster at a mile in the Verterm Futurity Trophy.
The Qatar Racing-owned juvenile completed second back at that track at the Solario Stakes before completing the place in Newmarket on his very first start over a mile in the Royal Lodge after making a winning debut at Sandown.
Balding said:He has two entries, the Verterm Futurity Trophy and the seven-furlong Group One in ParisLongchamp. If he runs this season Hell run in among them.
I am not sure Id wish to be running him over a mile on soft ground at Doncaster.
Hes come from his very last run amazing and I could not be happier with him.
It was somewhat annoying he got beat at the Royal Lodge, however, I believe we have an extremely decent horse on our hands and physically he is only likely to improve.
