Footballer Emiliano Sala’s family, who died when the plane he was travelling in came down in the English Channel, insist they will do everything possible to make sure the facts about the injury is disclosed.
Sala was the album of Cardiff and has been on his way.
Last month, the Air Accident Investigations Branch disclosed until the airplane came down that he and pilot Dave Ibbotson, who died in the crash, had suffered carbon monoxide poisoning.
A crowdfunding website to find Sala’s figure was setup by the family and there were reports they may do the same.
The family said in a statement, issued by their attorney:»Emiliano’s household were frustrated with the AAIB’s response to Emiliano’s departure.
«They were especially surprised if, at the immediate wake of this incident, it appeared that the AAIB had ended on conducting a full search for the aeroplane therefore it fell on them to achieve this.
«Without David Mearns finding the airplane, Emiliano’s body might not have been recovered and the possible significance of carbon monoxide poisoning of the pilot would not have been known.
«The family still hope that the inquest procedure will provide them with the answers they find in regard to Emiliano’s passing and that air security is going to be improved, for example, prevention of deaths later on. They expect that their religion in justice is not betrayed.
«The family will be keeping all options on the desk to their next move. They will do everything possible to ensure the truth about this horrible accident is shown, so no household has to go through the same torment.»
