Last week businessman Cary Katz created the biggest score of his poker career and he had to outlast 11 competitions to perform it.
Katz won the inaugural Super High Roller Bowl event in London for a hefty $2.5 million. The No-Limit Hold’em event, which comprised a #252,500 buy-in, just drawn 12 entrants, which makes it more of a multi-table tournament that was proper of a Sit & Go and much less.
The event may have been little but it did contain an extremely tough field together with the likes of Christoph Vogelsang, Stephen Chidwick and Mikita Badziakouski.
Just the top two spots paid in case with up-and-coming American football ace Ali Imsirovic taking second place.

Katz, who left his fortune at the student loan business, is one of those few players who looks sufficiently bankrolled to consistently play roller championships that are super. Katz has been with just under $7 million earned 2019 alone. He’s been playing poker but it was that he listed around $1 million.
He’s now around $24 million in life live tournament earnings, which puts him 18th on the all time record. He’s the sole full-time businessman who ranks at the top 20 all-time poker Legislation.

Katz commended his rivals, which included Stephen Chidwick the Ali Imsirovic along with German Cristoph Vogelsang and was humble in his success.
«That is my biggest score and I was only remarkably lucky,» he advised Poker Central following winning.
«I think Stevie really needed to win, he still played with perfectly perfect but he only kept losing all the races. Vogelsang also played excellent, and Ali play so I believe I played by far the worst now but I only got the luckiest but I’ll take it»
Katz had a significant chip advantage which proved to be sufficient to carry him. The table was shown to be a marathon affair which took to play out.
Ali Imsirovic proceeds to prove himself as one of poker’s brightest up-and-comers. Even the Bosnian-born American is among those few players who’s managed without being an established player from pre-2010 to make an effect on the high roller circuit.
Imsirovic has been playing super roller championships for a few decades and at that time he’s managed to rack up more than $7 million in earnings. He is on a 3.7-million winning series in 2019 alone and will be showing no signs of slowing down.
